Gastown is where the city of Vancouver began. Meet some of the interesting characters that have helped shape the city, walk the cobblestone roads, get a picture with the famous Steam Clock and get insider tips on where to eat and drink on the cheap. From Gastown the tour moves South to include the Vancouver Art Gallery, Robson Street, Vancouver Public Library and much more!
On this 2.5 hour easy-walking tour we give a complete overview of downtown Vancouver and venture into some of the city’s historic buildings. Our unique style of combining history with pure entertainment, stories & jokes has made us one of the most popular walking tour companies in Canada!

When and where can I join this Tour Guys adventure?
Tour Dates: Tours run every Friday afternoon (please note there will not be a tour on Friday December 24th or Friday December 31st – Happy Holidays!)
Tour Time: 1:00pm start, tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours

Meet At:
All Tour Guys walking tours begin at the site of the former Olympic countdown clock in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery. This is at the corner of Georgia Street & Hornby Street, only 1 block away from the Burrard Skytrain or Vancouver City Centre Skytrain Station. (click here for a map) Meet near the western edge of the fountain (the side closest to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver)
This tour ends in Gastown at the Steam Clock approximately 2.5 hours later. If you ask your guide at the end of the tour they will be happy to provide directions to wherever you are headed.
Tour Cost: FREE! There is no charge for the tour itself, but our guides work very hard for tips. Because you choose what you pay, you are guaranteed you’ll have a GREAT tour!
