Just a street or two over, Kensington Market is multicultural Toronto at its best with fruit and vegetable markets mixed with cool cafes and restaurants and vintage clothing stores – and no Starbucks or McDonalds in sight!

This tour starts at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) at the south west corner of McCaul st and Dundas St W. From there its a short walk past regal Victorian and Georgian mansions across Chinatown and into Kensington Market. On this tour we’ll cover the history of the Chinese community in Toronto, Amelia Earhart’s love of flying, fine art, moose on rooftops, cheeses from around the world, A famous King who lived here, and some of the best places to eat and shop on the cheap! Along the way your Tour Guy will show you their favourite places to eat, drink and shop. For school trips we offer a scavenger hunt to help students learn about the area in a fun way.
